Goals of the environment
Work with another student to create both foreground and background assets that make a side scrolling world feel unique and a active environment at the same time
Challenges
Since we had two 3D environment artists working on this project. We had to get really creative on how to both challenge ourselves with a environment that both didn't feel empty but also assets didn't feel out of place. How I overcame them: From the first Mood sheet up to the last reference image added to our Trello we were constantly updating each other with both new ideas but also the correct art style we wanted to use for this game
